Do I qualify for help from Home Assured?
If you have arrears on your mortgage or are about to fall behind with your repayments then Home Assured might be able to assist you. Depending on the amount of secured debt on your home in relation to the valuation of the property, Home Assured will look at each case and aim to prevent repossession proceedings against you and your family.
What if I/we have an eviction notice from the court?
If you are seen to be actively trying to solve the situation by settling your secured debt a repossession order or a warrant for eviction can be suspended for a short period of time. If, in the time allowed by the court, we are able to assist you we will exchange contracts, complete the transaction and settle all secured debts on the property.
How will Home Assured help me/us?
Home Assured will purchase the property from you, pay off all loans secured on your home i.e. mortgage and any others where applicable, and rent the property back to you and your family.
How long does this process take?
Depending on circumstances, which vary from case to case, the process can take anywhere from 7 days to 4 weeks.
If my/our circumstances change can we buy the property back?
Yes. If in the future you find yourself in a financial position to purchase the property, Home Assured protects your right to buy the property back from us at a discounted price.
How much will this service cost us?
Home Assured has a scale of chargeable costs dependent on the value of the property. However, all consultation, support and negotiations prior to sale of the property are without charge or obligation.
Will I need to seek financial or legal advice?
Home Assured suggests you seek independent financial and legal advice before you agree to any transactions.
